The contract was obtained through a tender process.
The work involved the complete renovation of a Grade 2 listed property and a
large Oak framed extension. The whole of the extension and the existing
property was retiled in hand made clay tiles. Oak joinery and bronze casement
windows and doors are a feature of this project. Natural stone and Oak parquet
floors were fitted to the ground and first floors. A handmade cut string
staircase with continuous Oak handrail, spanning through three floors, was
fitted.
We worked closely with the local conservation officer
to ensure that the building was renovated to their requirements, with materials
matched to the existing building.
